During the 2025-2026 school year, Gretna Public Schools operates eight three-year-old and twelve four-year-old, half-day special education preschool classrooms. These classrooms support Gretna's students with special needs through participation in general education classrooms with neighborhood children.
Our preschool classrooms consist of up to 50% children with special education needs and 50% neighborhood children who do not receive special education services.
