Supporting Graduates

We offer a wide range of scholarships for all graduating GPS seniors each school year.

The Gretna Public Schools Foundation partners with alumni, community members, businesses and generous friends to support graduating Gretna Public Schools seniors who continue their educational journeys beyond high school. Scholarships are available to students pursuing associate and bachelor degrees as well as those attending vocational and trade schools.

In 2024, The Gretna Public Schools Foundation awarded Gretna High School students over $100,000 in scholarships during Honors Night. We presented 65 local scholarships to over 100 graduating seniors.

The Gretna Public Schools Foundation continues to grow its Scholarship Program. Many of the scholarships are provided through gifts in memory of individuals. We look forward to celebrating graduates from Gretna High and Gretna East in 2025!
