Local Honors Night
The Gretna Public Schools Foundation proudly partners with alumni, community members, businesses, and generous supporters to assist graduating seniors from Gretna High and Gretna East as they continue their educational journeys beyond high school.
At this year’s Local Honors Night, 157 awards were presented to seniors, totaling over $150,000 in scholarships. These awards included scholarships for:
Students with a family history of military service
Those pursuing careers in the trades (2-year degrees)
Civic- and business-focused achievements
Students attending 4-year colleges and universities
Memorial and honorarium scholarships
Activity-based accomplishments
