What Is Gretna Kids Connection (GKC)?
GKC is the Gretna Public Schools before and after school age childcare program operated by the Gretna Public Schools Foundation. Gretna KIDS CONNECTION is part of the Foundation's commitment to enhance the school's educational quality for the benefit of students and residents of the Gretna School District. 

What do we do? 
GKC provides childcare in a familiar setting, offering indoor/outdoor play, arts and crafts, table games, reading, coloring and drawing,  free choice time and the opportunity to complete school assignments. GRETNA KIDS CONNECTION is licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. 

Where are we located? 
GKC is located in ALL of our elementary buildings. Designated sites will be available on non-school days and most snow days.

*Gretna, Harvest Hills and Thomas Elementary are currently all meeting at Thomas Elementary School daily for Kids Connection. Kid's are bussed between buildings before and after school.

Who do we care for?
We are able to take kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade that reside in and attend the Gretna Public School District.
